I enjoy using new technology to create strategic initiatives that challenge conventional wisdom and establish a new way of doing things. Whether I’m crafting a marketing plan or advising on digital strategy, you can count on me to question assumptions and introduce fresh perspectives. I don’t discount the “old way of doing things,” but believe there’s always room for improvement.

My unique understanding of the intersection of business and technology allows me to achieve continued success as Director of Digital Strategy at Stern Strategy Group where I specialize in driving growth through web, content and social strategies.  I leverage my experience with analytical thinking and ideation to advance the goals of the businesses, organizations and brands I work with.

I enjoy being an active member of the rapidly evolving tech community. I was selected as a member of the inaugural Summer Startup Accelerator program at General Assembly (GA) – a global network of campuses that transforms thinkers into creators through education and opportunities in technology, business and design. The intensive, eight-week program focused on digital product innovation and entrepreneurship, giving us the opportunity to work with a different GA-affiliated startup each afternoon. I remained connected with GA as a teaching assistant, helping students develop technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and WordPress. My experience in startups led me to found TheTechUpload LLC, a boutique digital marketing firm specializing in small and medium businesses.

I’ve always had an interest in business and entrepreneurship. When my sister and I built a thriving lemonade stand business as kids, we scrapped the Country Time for fresh juices and gourmet pastries. I wrote my first business plan at 13, securing enough funding to purchase a 7-foot spiral gumball machine, which I placed in a local deli to make my first dollar as a young entrepreneur. I strive to always bring the same enthusiasm to the organizations I work with today.

I am a proud alumnus of Binghamton University, having received a Masters in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Marketing and Management Information Systems, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English, General Literature and Rhetoric.
